What type of [reminder system] integration options are available for my website?
Intelecare provides both hosted and enterprise level integration options for its personal notification and communication system, InteleComm.

What is the difference between a hosted and enterprise level integration?
Hosted solutions are built and maintained by Intelecare requiring a modicum of resources and capital investment by the client. All the data is stored on Intelecare servers.

Enterprise solutions are built and maintained by the client, affording seamless integration into existing systems infrastructure but requiring in-house or otherwise outside personnel to code and build the reminder systems according to the specifications as outlined in the Intelecare API support documentation.

Are the hosted solutions fully client branded?
All InteleComm versions provide for private label integration that match to the client's existing branded user interface. In some cases attribution statements are required.

How are your hosted solutions integrated on my website?
There are two options for hosted integrations: (1) subdomain of Intelecare.com or (2) client-side IFrame reference (recommended). Details of these options can be provided by your account manager or by scheduling a meeting with a member of our sales team by filling out this online form.

Is there a limit to the number of users that can register?
InteleComm is built on a highly scalable platform and does not place any restrictions on the number of users that can participate in any of its program offerings.

Is there a limit to the number of reminders that can be created per user account?
There is no limit to the number of reminders an end user can create on the system.

Will the SMS (text messaging) features work with every mobile provider? In other countries?
Intelecare's SMS functions work across all mobile providers and in more than 201 countries.

Do you provide documentation for your enterprise solution?
For our enterprise clients, Intelecare provides a detailed API Documentation Package with sample code, best practices and system logic. This document is provided at contract execution only.

Can I modify your business rules engine and/or standard process flow to our own specific needs regardless integration type?
Intelecare's architecture is flexible and can be customized on a client-by-client basis. Depending upon the version of InteleComm that you select, complete customization can be achieved. View the InteleComm Version Matrix for more information.

How do you calculate usage fees?
We dont. There are no usage fees on any of our InteleComm versions. InteleComm is licensed on an annual basis and the fee is based on an all-inclusive structure for ease in budgeting.

How can I segment your database to meet my communication needs?
Intelecare's proprietary 100% opt-in database can be segmented according to medical conditions, lifestyle (e.g., Family Caregiver), medication, poly-pharmaceuticals and comorbidity. You can further refine the target universe by zip code, gender, ethnicity and age.

Can I send my promotional message directly to your subscribers?
Intelecare's privacy policy restricts us from sharing any personally identifable information about our subscribers to any third party. All promotional messages that meet our editorial guidelines are sent from Intelecare on your behalf.

What is the normal campaign length [for a messaging program]?
As with most marketing programs, Intelecare recommends a minimum of 3 waves to maximize message retention.

Can I send marketing messages via SMS?
The short answer is yes, but this is something to review with your medical-legal teams regarding the handling of fair balance statements. There are technical limitations of 160 characters for a single text message - this is often not enough for pharmaceutical brand fair balance statement. There are options related to leveraging SMS and Intelecare would be happy to discuss the options with you based on our experience. Is Intelecare HIPAA compliant?
Intelecare is not a "covered entity" under HIPAA and does not, as part of its routine services access or process any Protected Health Information (as defined in HIPAA). Intelecare does, however, take all reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality, privacy and security of all personal information provided by its members and shall not disclose any such information to any third party. Would we have to adopt your privacy policy and terms and conditions of use, or can we use our policies?
This depends on the type of integration you select. If your organization selects one of our hosted solutions, the Intelecare policies will govern. If you choose to implement our enterprise solution then your own policies govern.

Why is your privacy policy so strict?
Intelecare takes its responsibilities to its user base very seriously. Privacy has become more and more important to consumers. Intelecare's ability to provide its services in an environment of trust ensures a loyal user base and that translates to more reliable and highly effective communications program.

What kind of security measures do you have in place to protect data and to ensure uptime?
Our security measures cover all three critical security areas: physical security, operational security and system security. Physical security includes locking down and logging all physical access to servers at our data center. Operational security involves creating business processes that follow security best practices to limit access to confidential information and maintain tight security over time. System security involves locking down customer systems from the inside, starting with hardened operating systems and up-to-date patching.

We use powerful 128-bit encryption up to 256-bit encryption - the highest level currently available - as determined by the user-specific web browser. In other words, if the web server or browser used by the client can support 256-bit encryption (e.g, Firefox) then our secure server will establish a session at that level.
